Ours scales with size; 730mg per scoop for a small dog up to 2,920mg for a giant. So you're not paying for a one-size-fits-all tub, you're paying for the right amount for your dog. Every tub is 30 scoops. That works out at just over a dollar a day for a small dog. And the bigger sizes are better value the further up you go. 

The second is the ingredient itself. Most dental powders are built on kelp, which is widely available and cheap.
